We were asked to create a 50-second commercial based around the tag line, ‘an ear for music’. A character, the brainchild of the ad agency, explores the city, discovering good music off the beaten track, just like 6 Music does.
Walking around London, with music coming from different sources - whether a passerby’s headphones, a stereo by a bedroom window or out of a club - our character is constantly tuned in to great music. To create a truly authentic urban context we combined live action, Flash animation and hand-drawn elements to perfect the street art look and texture.
