A 30-second promo for the Nokia website to launch the availability of Firefox on the Nokia N900.
The Firefox character sniffs out Maemo, the behind-the-scenes software that makes it all work – here depicted as busy, clever moles tinkering underground. Once their work is done, out pops a shiny new N900. Rather than technical in feel, we took inspiration from woodblock printing and from traditional Scandinavian fairy tale illustrations as a nod to Nokia’s Finnish roots. Apparently it worked a treat, customers responded positively to the warmth, colour and simplicity.
